1. Data we collect

Account data: the name, email address, native language, and country you provide when registering.

Learning data: the lessons you complete, exercise answers, quiz scores, stars earned, and your standing in your learner group.

Voice data: in speaking exercises and AI conversation, your voice is sent to an artificial intelligence provider to be turned into text and a response. We do not keep voice recordings as a permanent archive.

Payment data: the order code, transfer amount, and payment status of each purchase, plus the payment receipt you send us. We never receive or store your card number.

Technical data: basic device and usage information used to monitor errors and maintain service quality.

2. What the data is used for

Providing the service: saving your progress, adapting material, and enabling the access you have paid for.

Processing payments and providing transaction records.

Improving the product: understanding which features are failing or rarely working.

Contacting you about your account, transactions, or important changes to the service.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Third parties that process data

We use the following categories of provider to run the product: database and authentication services to store accounts and progress; artificial intelligence providers to generate material, check answers, and run voice conversations; file storage providers for lesson images and audio; and a QRIS payment provider to receive payments. Payment confirmations are handled over WhatsApp.

Each party receives only the data needed to perform its function.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and visit counters to understand how many people visit this site, which pages they read, and where they arrived from. This data is statistical, and we use it to improve the site and our learning materials — not for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Our analytics cookie is stored on the coreenglishpro.com domain and also applies on app.coreenglishpro.com, so a visit to the website and use of the app can be recognised as the same visitor rather than two.

The providers we use for this are PostHog (product and app usage analytics) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (visit statistics and page speed, without cookies).

You can block cookies through your browser settings or an ad blocker. The site and the app work normally without analytics cookies.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on cloud infrastructure with restricted access and encrypted connections.

Some of our providers operate servers outside Indonesia, so data may be processed abroad for the purpose of delivering the service.

We retain account and learning data for as long as your account is active.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of your personal data, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your account and its data.

Requests can be sent through our official contact channels and will be handled within a reasonable time.

Please note that certain transaction records may be retained to meet accounting and tax obligations.

7. Children

This service is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should use the service with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The current version is always available on this page together with its update date.
