Both paid plans open exactly the same courses — all 8 of them, 778 lessons. The only difference is AI conversation minutes, which only Max includes. If you want to build vocabulary and grammar first, Pro is enough; take Max if you genuinely want to practise speaking with an AI often.
All transactions are processed and charged in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). There are no recurring charges, sign-up fees, or cancellation fees.
No automatic renewal
Pro and Max are sold as a single fixed one-month period, not a recurring subscription. We do not store your card details and we will never charge you again automatically. When the period ends your account returns to the Free plan and you keep using the free courses as normal. If you want to continue, you buy a new period deliberately.
Payment methods
Payment is by QRIS transfer. In the app, choose your plan and a QRIS code appears — scan it with any QRIS-enabled app (GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, or mobile banking) and transfer the exact amount shown. We never receive or store your card number.
When access starts
This is a digital service. After you transfer, tap the WhatsApp button in the app to send us your receipt — your order code and account email are filled in for you. We check the transfer and switch your account over by hand, normally much sooner and always within 24 hours. Nothing physical is shipped. If your account has not been upgraded by then, message us and we will fix it.
How AI conversation minutes work
Speaking practice with an AI is the only metered part of the app, because every call costs real compute. Here are the rules, with no surprises.
Only one exercise uses minutes — and you can always skip it
Minutes are only ever spent on the AI Conversation exercise. That exercise is optional: tap "Skip" and you carry straight on to the next one. Lessons, audio, writing practice, quizzes, and games use no minutes at all — so you can finish an entire course, certification exam included, without spending a single minute.

Charged on actual talking time
Minutes are deducted for the call time that genuinely happened, rounded to the nearest minute. Opening the exercise without starting a call costs nothing.
Max minutes are additive
Every 30 days of an active Max subscription, 120 minutes are added to your balance. Minutes left over from the previous period are not wiped — unused minutes are not simply lost.
If your subscription ends
Your minute balance is kept for 3 days after Max expires so you have time to renew without losing it. After 3 days, subscription minutes reset to 0.
Skipping it costs you nothing
The AI Conversation exercise is left out of your lesson score unless it would raise it. Skip it and your score, your stars, and your course progress are exactly what they would be if the exercise were not there.
Extra minutes — Rp 32.000 / 60 minutes
If you run out before your next period, you can buy a top-up pack of 60 minutes. It is a one-off purchase, added straight to your balance, and it does not extend your subscription.
Common questions
Is there really a free version?
Yes. A free account opens the whole Foundation course (A1) — 18 units, 136 lessons, plus its midterm and final exam — with no time limit and no card details required. You also get 10 AI conversation minutes, once.
Why is Foundation the free one?
Because it is the part that decides everything after it. Foundation is where your English is actually built from nothing — the alphabet, introducing yourself, numbers, telling the time, directions, everyday sentences — and we did not want money to be the reason someone stops there. So our most important course is open in full, final exam included, at no cost at all.
What is the difference between Pro and Max?
Both open exactly the same courses: seven more beyond Foundation — General English: Elementary (A2), English Grammar, English Idioms, English Phrasal Verbs, Automotive Assembly 1 and 2, and English for Housekeeping 1, 642 lessons in total. There is one difference: Max (Rp 120,000/month) adds 120 AI conversation minutes every 30 days, while Pro (Rp 40,000/month) includes no AI minutes at all.
Which plan comes with a class?
Pro, for one month, is included with every class plan — so all 8 courses are open to you for as long as your class period runs, at no extra cost. Class plans do not include AI conversation minutes; if you want those, Max can be bought separately in the app.
Does a subscription renew automatically?
No. Pro and Max are sold as a fixed one-month period. There is no recurring billing and we do not store your card details. When the period ends, the account returns to the Free plan.
Do I need AI minutes to finish a course?
No. Minutes are only used by the AI Conversation exercise, and that exercise is optional — tap Skip and you continue to the next one. Every lesson, quiz, game, and certification exam works with zero minutes.
What happens to my AI minutes when Max ends?
Your balance is kept for 3 days after Max expires so you have time to renew. After 3 days, subscription minutes reset to 0. Minutes bought separately as a top-up pack on an account that has never been on Max are not wiped.
How do I pay, and how fast is my account activated?

Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 2 days of payment, as long as you have not used more than 10 AI conversation minutes in that period. Full terms are on the Refund Policy page.
What currency am I charged in?
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Every price on this site is a final price in Rupiah and that is the amount charged.
Are there classes with a human teacher?
Yes, and they are our main product. Live Zoom classes with a real teacher come in two forms: Pro Class, a group class of up to 8 at Rp 100,000/month for four sessions, and a one-to-one Private Class at Rp 400,000/month. Both include a Pro account for a month, so you keep practising daily between sessions. The details are on the home page. You can also still learn through the app alone, without classes. What devices does it work on?
In a browser on phones, tablets, and computers at app.coreenglishpro.com. It can be installed to your home screen like a normal app. Speaking practice needs microphone permission.
