Room Status & VIP Guest Vocabulary
A handful of terms keep appearing in room status reports and supervisor instructions — usually as abbreviations. Know them well so you never act incorrectly in a guest's room.
Room Status Terms

| Do Not Disturb (DND) | Jangan diganggu |
| Make Up Room (MUR) | Minta dibersihkan sekarang |
| Sleep-in | Tamu masih tidur di kamar (belum keluar) |
| Double lock | Kunci ganda (kamar dikunci dari dalam) |
Guest Types & Length of Stay
| English | Bahasa Indonesia |
|---|---|
| VIP | Tamu penting |
| VVIP | Tamu sangat penting |
| Long stay | Menginap dalam waktu lama |
| Early arrival | Kedatangan lebih awal |
| Late checkout | Check-out lebih lambat |
| Connecting room | Kamar yang saling terhubung |
Example: "Room 512 is DND. Room 514 is a VIP — please double-check before servicing."
