Core Safety Terms
- stop-work authority — every worker's right to stop work if they see an unsafe condition.
- muster point — the gathering location during an evacuation.
- machine guarding — the covers or barriers on dangerous parts of a machine.
- energized equipment — machines or tools that are still powered on or carrying energy.
- eyewash station — a place to rinse your eyes if they're exposed to a chemical.
